Mr. Simonson is a lifelong resident of Cape May County and a graduate of Ocean City High School. After graduating Ocean City High School, Mr. Simonson attended Stockton University where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Management. During that time, Mr. Simonson also attended the Cape May County Police Academy where he graduated SLEO Class 41. After graduating the Cape May County Police Academy, Mr. Simonson worked for the Ocean City Police Department as a Class II Police Officer and the Tuckahoe Bike Shops until he graduated from Stockton University. After graduating from Stockton University, Mr. Simonson worked for Ocean City Public Works Boardwalk and Sanitation crews until he was admitted to Rutgers University Law School in Camden. 

While in law school, Mr. Simonson participated in the Rutgers Immigration Clinic where he represented numerous clients in immigration matters. He was also a law clerk for the Sutherland Law Firm in Northfield, New Jersey. 

After graduating from law school, Mr. Simonson served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. James P. McClain, J.S.C. in the Atlantic County Special Civil Part during the 2017- 2018 Court term.   


In 2018, Mr. Simonson joined the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office as an Assistant Prosecutor where he worked in the Pre-Indictment, Post-Indictment, and Appellate Units. During his time at the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office he supervised investigations, litigated matters from the pre-indictment phase through the post-indictment phase, litigated cases that were appealed from the Municipal Courts of Cape May County to the Superior Courts and Appellate Courts of New Jersey, and served as on-call legal advisor to Police Departments throughout Cape May County.  In 2019 Mr. Simonson also graduated from the Top Gun Narcotics Investigation School.  

Mr. Simonson is an active member of the Cape May County Bar Association where he serves as both a Trustee and a coordinator of the Vincent J. Appruzzese Mock Trial Competition. In 2020, the Cape May County Bar Association named Mr. Simonson Young Lawyer of the Year. 

Mr. Simonson is also an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2560 in Ocean City, where he lives with his fiance, Erika Lezama, and their dog Fin.

Jennifer Torsiello Cassett, Esq.


Ms. Cassett was born and raised in Atlantic County and is a graduate of Holy Spirit High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey (n.k.a. Stockton University) in 2002. She attended Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware and earned her Juris Doctorate Degree in 2005. 

During law school, Ms. Cassett worked for the Public Defenders' Office in Wilmington, Delaware. She worked on the Innocence Project, which focused on new DNA evidence and technology to aid those wrongfully incarcerated. 

Since graduating from law school, Ms. Cassett has dedicated her career to personal injury litigation. She initially began working for insurance companies, defending cases brought by injured individuals. She was an associate attorney at a reputable law firm in Cape May County for almost 10 years. It was not until Ms. Cassett suffered her own back problems that she realized she was on the wrong side. 

 In 2015, Ms. Cassett began fighting for people injured in accidents. Having the unique experience of working for insurance companies for nearly a decade, Ms. Cassett knew exactly how to fight against them. 

Ms. Cassett is dedicated to fighting on behalf of those injured in car accidents, slip and fall accidents, and dog bites incidents. She also fights on behalf of families in wrongful death cases.  She is an experienced trial attorney and is always ready to take a case before a jury. 

In 2017, Ms. Cassett recovered a $1,200,000.00 jury verdict for one of her clients who was injured in a motor vehicle accident. The verdict was the 6th largest jury award recovered for a Plaintiff injured in a motor vehicle accident in the State of New Jersey in 2017.  Ms. Cassett is a distinguished member of the bar who is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney. This is a distinction held by only 2% of attorneys in New Jersey.  She is a Court Appointed Arbitrator  for the Atlantic County Superior Court and volunteers as Civil Mediation Panelist for Atlantic County Special Civil Division. She is a member of the Atlantic County Bar Association and New Jersey Association for Justice.
